William Mitchell Seaman, Jr. 71

of Scottdale passed away Wednesday evening September 17, 2025 at his residence. Bill was born on January 28, 1954 in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late William Mitchell and Alyce Geraldine (Orbin) Seaman.

Bill was a professional photographer and a graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1971. He also received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Brooks Institute, a well known photography and visual arts school in Santa Barbara, California. He was a lifelong member of the Calvin United Presbyterian Church in Scottdale, a longtime member of the former Pleasant Valley Country Club, and a loyal member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #777 in Scottdale. Bill enjoyed golfing, playing tennis, and was talented at billiards.

Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family; his brother, Thomas Seaman and his wife Kay of Greensburg; his two nieces, Kristian Dillard and husband Michael and Nicole Lori and husband Jonathan; and his four great nieces and nephews, Emily, Tristan, Wyatt, and Naomi.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel followed by funeral services at 8 PM Sunday with Pastor Doug Yauger officiating. Burial in Scottdale Cemetery will be private.
