William Leroy "Bill" Culler, 77, of Scottdale, passed away at 9:23 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at his residence. Bill was born March 5, 1943, in Connellsville, a son of the late Rev. Francis Leroy and Nellie Marie (Arrington) Culler. He was married to Betty Irene (Pospisil) Culler, who passed away Nov. 12, 2015. Bill was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired from the PA State Police where he served as a trooper in the Greensburg Barracks. He was a longtime and faithful member of the Scottdale Church of Christ where he worshipped God. Bill enjoyed the Dairy Queen, watching football and spending time with family and his dog, Daisy! Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family; his two sons, William Leroy Culler Jr. and wife, Michelle Sue and Robert Scott Culler and his wife, Tina Marie; his grandchildren, Joel William Culler and wife, Neisy, Jesse Michael Culler and wife, Vanessa Marie Gruss, Jordan Anne Culler and husband, John Philip Welsh, Tonya Darlene Culler, Timothy Russell Culler and wife, Mallory Lynn, and Breann Marie Sachs and husband, Brian Lee Sachs; his great-grandchildren, Emma and Jacob Culler and Maisie and Braxton Sachs; his brother, James Allen Culler and wife, Robin Elaine; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
