William H. "Bill" Crossland, 80, of Connellsville (Upper Tyrone Township), passed away at 4:05 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. Bill was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Everson, a son of the late Thomas and Bessie (Herrington) Crossland. He married the former Dolores E. Kropp on Sept. 26, 1958. Bill was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was retired from the former Allegheny Power System where he worked as a lineman for over 38 years. A graduate of Connellsville High School, class of 1954. Bill was active years ago as a member of the Everson Evangelical Church and enjoyed hunting and golfing. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 57 years, Dolores E. (Kropp) Crossland; his three children, William "Bill" Crossland and his wife, Teresa, of Murrysville, Linda Ullery and her husband, Randy, of Everson, and Jeff Crossland and his wife, Rhonda, of Hunker; and his three grandchildren, Elise Ullery, Zach Crossland and Eric Crossland.
