> Wayne Dillinger, 72, of Dawson (Upper Tyrone Township), passed away at 7 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
>
> Wayne was born Jan. 1, 1946, in Connellsville, a son of the late Alvin A. and Iva (Ellenberger) Dillinger.
>
> He married Donna Miller on April 25, 1968.
>
> Wayne was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a self-employed businessman in the sales and re-marketing field. He graduated from Scottdale High School, Class of 1963, and was a member of the Hickory Square United Methodist Church. Wayne also was an active member of the King Solomon Masonic Lodge # 346 and a former high priest of the Royal Arch Chapter. He belonged to the Fairview Aid Society and the BPO Elks Lodge #777 of Scottdale. Wayne enjoyed fishing and supporting his sons and grandson in their baseball and racing endeavors. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served as a SP5 during the Vietnam War, stationed in Korea, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

> Wayne will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 49 years, Donna (Miller) Dillinger; his two sons, John Dillinger of Nashville, Tenn., and Jeffrey Dillinger and his wife Amy of Dawson; his two grandchildren, Braeden and Brianna; his brother, Eugene Dillinger of Connellsville; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful pug, Frankie.

> In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, John, George, and Alvin Dillinger; and his two sisters, June Nygren and Annagrace VanDruff.
>
> Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the Ralph E. Galley Funeral Home, 501 Railroad St., Dawson, 724-529-2611, www.fergusonfunerals.com. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.

> The Scottdale-Everson Honor Guard will bestow full military honors following the funeral service.
>
> The King Solomon Masonic Lodge # 346 will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
>
> Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
