Wayne E. "Butch" Baldwin, 65 of Mount Pleasant, passed away at 8:20 AM Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Butch was born September 12, 1955 in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late Kenneth and Pearl (Hoyman) Baldwin. He married Mary J. (Miller) Baldwin on July 18, 1994.
Butch was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He worked as a mason with Baker Masonry and years ago was employed at Brass & Bronze Foundry. He was also a faithful member and usher at the New Stanton Assembly of God Church.
Butch will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 26 years, Mary J. (Miller) Baldwin; his two children, Amy Routzahn and husband Richard of Medina, OH and Wayne Baldwin Jr. of Newell; his four grandchildren, Austin, Jackson, Nick, and Kyler; his siblings, AnnaMae Frazier, Christina Durkota (Michael), Nancy Shultz (George -Deceased), David Baldwin (Lee - Deceased), and Evelyn Fox (Donald); his special niece, Tina Brinker (with whom he resided with and considered as a daughter); and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his daughter, Stacy; his grandson, Caleb; and his siblings, Sarah Mountain (Ralph), Kenny Baldwin, Betty Bowser, Harry Baldwin (Gertie), Cathy Baldwin, Mary Lou Shaw (Richard), Robert Baldwin (Wandee), and Christopher Baldwin (Glenn Daniels).
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (724-887-5300 / www.fergusonfunerals.com / GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278). Family and friends will be received from 3-7 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the New Stanton Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ron Ingelido officiating. Final resting place will be in Mt. Joy Cemetery. Love Lasts Forever!
