Obituary

WALLACE D. "WALLY" STONER, 90 of Scottdale passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 in Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills. Wally was born January 30, 1935 in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late Wilbur K. and Iona D. (Aspey) Stoner.

Wally graduated from Scottdale High School, Class of 1953 and was retired from the former Allied Mills in Everson where he was employed for many years, Wally was a member of the former EUB/Christ United Methodist Church in Scottdale. He enjoyed playing softball and riding his motorcycles and was also a Millennial Member of the National Rifle Association.

Wally will be sadly missed by his loving family; his daughter, Becky Bostick and her mother, Barbara Myers, both of Greensburg; his grandson, Adam Bostick II; his three great grandchildren, Adam Bostick III, Amelia Stull, and Adalee Bostick; his brother, Dennis Stoner of Scottdale; and his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jack and James Stoner.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 4-8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. A eulogy and prayer service will follow at 8 PM Wednesday. Love Lasts Forever!
