Obituary

WALLACE RAY STONER, 87 of Tarrs passed away at 11:52 PM on Independence Day, July 4, 2025 at his residence. Ray was born October 17, 1937 in Tarrs, East Huntingdon Township, a son of the late Harry H. and Berthas L. (Robaugh) Stoner. He married Dalene A. (Myers) Stoner on September 24, 1966.

Ray was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated FROM East Huntingdon High School, Class of 1955 and was employed as a truck driver with Ferrell Gas Company for 30 years. Ray was a faithful member of the Mt. Lebanon United methodist Church at Tarrs and enjoyed wood crafting, gardening, and watch football.

Ray will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 58 years, Darlene A. (Myers) Stoner; his three sons, Scott A. Stoner and wife Randi of Butler, Mark B. Stoner and Michael R. Stoner, both of Ruffs Dale; his three grandchildren, Michael R. Stoner Jr., Saxon C. Stoner, and Sutton C. Stoner; and his loyal "Goldens" Tilly, Winchester, and Magnum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry H. Stoner; his two sisters, Ruby Stoner and Rhoda Crivella; and his cat, BigBoy and dog, Hudson.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (www.fergusonfunerals.com). At Ray's request, there will be no viewing. Family and friends will be received from 4-6 PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025 in the funeral home chapel. Final resting place will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs. Love Lasts Forever!
