Timothy James Sprinkle, 65 of Scottdale passed away at 7:25 PM Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born November 5, 1959 in Mount Pleasant, a son of Jesse James and Dorothy Jane (Stants) Sprinkle.

Tim was a devoted son, brother and uncle. He graduated from Southmoreland High School, Class of 1978 and received a Batchelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Goshen College in 1984. Tim was currently a teacher at Mount Carmel Christian School for the past 20 + years. He was a member of the Scottdale Mennonite Church and enjoyed spending time with his family, nieces, nephews, and collecting books.

Tim will be sadly missed by his loving family; his parents, Jesse James and Dorothy Jane (Stants) Sprinkle of Scottdale; his sister, Traci Rhodes and her husband Jeffrey of Scottdale; his niece Samantha Swan and husband Kyle of Florida and their children, Archie and Sylvia; and his nephew, Kyle Rhodes and wife Valerie of Scottdale and their child, Reese. Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Ruth (Lind) Sprinkle; and his maternal grandparents, Wendell and Dorothy (Leasure) Stants.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE ( www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 3-7 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel followed by funeral services at 7 PM Thursday with Pastor Robert Bixel officiating.
