Terri Lynn (Kuhns) Daugherty, 61, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Scottdale, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, at her residence. Terri was born Aug. 19, 1956, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Gerald and Betty (Pirl) Kuhns, of Lakeland, Fla. She married Donald D. Daugherty May 19, 1990. Terri was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, class of 1974, and worked for many years as a tax clerk at Southwest Region Tax Bureau in Scottdale. She was an avid professional sports fan, cheering on the Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay teams. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, watching golf and NASCAR, and years ago played the piano and organ. Terri will be sadly missed by her loving family, her husband of 27 years, Donald D. Daugherty; her parents, Gerald and Betty (Pirl) Kuhns; her daughter, Julie Marhefka-Fisher and husband, Jeremy, of Irwin; her two stepchildren, Sandy Daugherty Davis, of Norvelt and fiance, John Shifflett, and Don Daugherty and wife Jenny, of Latrobe; her two grandchildren, Maddex and Stella Fisher; her four stepgrandchildren, Cynthia Janos (Joshua), Jessica and Anna Davis and Kailyn Daugherty; her two stepgreat-grandchildren, Ella and Bristol Janos; her sister, Sherrie Braidic and husband, Ed, of Southport, N.C.; her niece, Lyndsey Mandley; and great-nephews, Everett and Mason. Terri was preceded in death by her faithful pet shih tzu, Snookums.
