Taylor Mae Benefiel, 6, of Vanderbilt, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville.

Taylor was born Nov. 22, 2011, in Greensburg, a daughter of Tyler and Vera (Sladky) Benefiel.

Taylor was a kindergarten student at Dunbar Township Elementary School and attended church at East Liberty Presbyterian Church in Vanderbilt with her parents and sisters. She enjoyed her animal friends, mud puddles, Minecraft, and Play-Doh.

Taylor will be sadly missed by her loving family: her parents, Tyler and Vera (Sladky) Benefiel; her two sisters, Trinity Star and Madison Lynn Benefiel; her maternal grandparents, Eric and Darla (Overly) Sladky of Vanderbilt; her maternal great-grandparents, Domer and Debbie Overly of Vanderbilt; and numerous loving relatives and friends.

Taylor was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Elvira (Clark) Sladky; and maternal grandfather, Vincent Darrah O'Donnell.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Friday, the hour of service, in the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, Vanderbilt, with Pastor Dave McElroy officiating.
