Stephen Charles Slater, 69, of Ruffsdale, passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. He suffered from Alzheimer's for the past five years. Steve was born Dec. 16, 1952, in Ithaca, N.Y., a son of the late Reverend Paul Slater and Helen (Smith) Slater. He married Sandi (Suter) Slater on July 8, 1972.
