Stella A. (Davison) Wood, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at 8:39 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at her residence. Stella was born March 10, 1940, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late James and Theis (Sager) Davison. She was married to Ralph C. Wood Sr., who passed away March 18, 2005. Stella was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She formerly was employed as a nurse's aide at Harmon House, and years ago worked at Westmoreland Manor. She was a family caregiver who enjoyed dining out. Stella will be sadly missed by her loving family: her son, Ralph C. Wood Jr., of Mt. Pleasant; her son-in-law, Jack Suter, of RuffsDale; her five grandchildren, Jackson and Jason Suter, Jessica Angelcyk and Kyle and Nicholas Wood; her three great-grandchildren, Isaac, Aubree and Felix; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Stella Suter; her granddaughter, Stacey Suter; and her siblings, Carol Faye Davison, Nancy Kravanja, Thelma Mismas, Sandy Davison, Sara Kolar, and William, Robert, and James Davison.
