Stella Ann (Wood) Suter, 58, of Ruffsdale, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, in UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh. Stella was born Nov. 8, 1957, a daughter of Stella Ann (Davison) Wood, of Mt. Pleasant, and the late Ralph C. Wood Sr. Stella was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a certified nurse assistant, who performed private duty nursing and was previously employed at Harmon House, Westmoreland Manor, St. Anne's Home and Scottdale Manor. Stella graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1975, and enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and baking. Stella will be sadly missed by her loving family: her husband, Jackson E. Suter Sr., of Ruffsdale; her three children, Jackson E. Suter Jr. and his wife, Tammy, of Ruffsdale, Jason C. Suter and his companion, Amanda Radziwon, of Ruffsdale, and Jessica Angelcyk and her husband, Felix, of West Newton; her granddaughter, Sammie Jo Suter, and granddaughter "soon to be born"; her mother, Stella Ann (Davison) Wood, of Mt. Pleasant; her brother, Ralph C. Wood Jr., of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacey Lynn Suter.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel, followed by funeral services at 8 p.m. Friday with Pastor Dave Hixson officiating. Final resting place will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery at Tarrs.
