Sharon Sue (DeRosa) Love, 72

of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Township), wife of Richard O. Love, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at her residence. She was born October 25, 1951 in Mount Pleasant, a daughter of the late Liberati "Lib" and Thelma "Corky" (Steir) DeRosa. She married Richard O. Love on November 26, 1971.

Sharon had many jobs throughout her lifetime but none more important than a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Sharon enjoyed working alongside her husband on the farm, volunteering to cook for any event and attending local and national fairs and cow shows with family and friends. She was a devoted Grandmother that loved attending her grandkids sporting events and watching them enjoy cows as much as she did.  She was a faithful member of the former Mount Nebo United Methodist Church and the Pennsylvania Brown Swiss Association.

Sharon will be sadly missed by her loving family; her husband of 52 years, Richard O. Love; Her children, Richard A. Love (Aimee) and Susan Spadaro (Gene);

Her grandchildren, Gracie, Anthony, Olivia, Nicholas; and Her siblings, Linda Branthoover (Mark) of Greensburg, PA and Don DeRosa (Lori) of Alpharetta, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her brother James DeRosa (Gwen) of Zebulon, NC.

A special thank you to Bridges Hospice, Lori and Bridget, for their gentle loving care and her special friends Carol, Sarah, Becky and Lisa for always being there for her in her time of need.
