Sarah H. Grimm, 91, of Scottdale, passed away at 4:55 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, in Jo-Ella's Personal Care Home, East Huntingdon Township. Sarah was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Scottdale, a daughter of the late Frank and Stella Hutchinson Lombardi. She was married to Henry S. Grimm, who passed away May 24, 2010. Sarah was a devoted mother, grandmother, great- and great-great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scottdale and years ago was active with the Scottdale Loyal Order of Moose Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family, her pet poodles, shopping with her granddaughter and supporting the ASPCA. Sarah will be sadly missed by her loving family: her son, H. Ronald Grimm, and his wife, Linda, of Scottdale; her grandson, Mark Grimm, of Scottdale; her grandson-in-law, Michael Green, and his wife, Jeanne, of Armbrust; her great-grandchildren, Danielle Green, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Joshua Grimm, of Bullskin Township; her great-great-grandson, Brayden Grimm; and her pet poodle, Penny. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Dean Grimm (April 29, 1996); her granddaughter, Ronell Green (May 9, 2009); and her two brothers, Ralph and Edward Lombardi.
Personalized arrangements were under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale (724-887-5300, www.fergusonfunerals.com). Private viewing and services were held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Daniel Clark officiating. Interment was in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery at Tarrs.
