Sara Grace (Felgar) Graft, 83, of Scottdale, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, surrounded by her loving family. Sara was born Sept. 15, 1934, in East Huntingdon Township, a daughter of the late William B. and Elizabeth R. (Conn) Felgar. She married Dorrance L. Graft Jan. 7, 1956. Sara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She graduated from Scottdale High School, Class of 1952, and years ago worked at the Connellsville Sportswear Co. A faithful member of Calvin United Presbyterian Church in Scottdale, Sara was active as an elder, former deacon and member of the Women's Association. She was a member of the Beta-Y-Gradale, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing dominos, summers in her pool and weekends at the family cabin.. Sara will be sadly missed by her loving family; her six children, Barbara Ann Stern, Tammie Lee Grimm, Beverly Sue Graft, Gary Lynn Graft and wife, Dee and Lisa Jane Burkhart and husband, Brian, all of Scottdale, and Lori Jean Gasbarre and husband, Michael, of Pittsburgh; her 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Wright (Lee), Amy Clawiter (Matthew), Rob Stern (Kristin), Stefanie Grimm (Brent Bottles), Matthew Grimm (Paige), Heather Graft, Audrey Comerford (Jake), Josh Burkhart (Amber Bensen), Emily Burkhart (Matthew Wyne), Natalie Genard (Denny) and Chelsie Schomer; her 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Hawk; and two brothers, Vernon and William "Bill" Felgar. Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale (724-887-5300 / www.fergusonfunerals.com / GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278). Family and friends will be received from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Additional viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday in Calvin United Presbyterian Church, Scottdale, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Pastors Leonard Morgan, D. Keith Solomon and Tom Shirer co-officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Bullskin Township. Memorials may be made to Calvin United Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. The family extends their appreciation to Excela Hospice, Frick Hospital Medical staff and nurses and Dr. Lynn for the loving care. Love lasts forever!
