Sandra E. (Heinbaugh) Knight, 78, of Dawson, passed away at 5:39 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021, at her home. Sandra was born Nov. 10, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank and Viola (Burkholder) Heinbaugh. She was married to James R. Knight Sr.

Sandra worked for many years as a cashier and stocker at Pechins in Dunbar. She was an avid bingo player.

Sandra will be sadly missed by her loving family, her husband, James R. Knight Sr.; her children, Sandra Hughes and husband Ronald of Connellsville and James R. Knight Jr. of Dawson; and her grandchildren, Rachael Striner, Brock Hughes, Heather Knight, Jimmy Jr. Knight, Whitney Knight, Jamie Knight, and Ryan Swink; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George E. Knight on Aug. 29, 2020.
