Harris, Sandra Kaye, 59, Mt. Pleasant, PA, formerly of Ringwood, IL passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Two weeks ago, Sandy told me there was a man on the porch who wanted her to go out there. I told her it was a shadow. Last week that man was back, Sandy said she needed her glasses to see who it was. This morning, Sandy left with the man on the porch. Sandy is preceded in death by parents, her beloved husband George, brothers Keith and Wally. She is survived by her loving sister-in-law Debbie Ancell, sisters Karen and Tammy, brother, Tommy and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy found great joy, love, and friendship with her Ringwood Methodist Church family. This family helped her find her way after the loss of George. Nurse Missie with Excela Home Health and Hospice was the angel who eased her way with dignity and grace.
At Sandy's request, there will be no services.
