Samantha Lee Riggs,

51 of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Township) passed away at 7:30 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026 at her residence. Samantha was born on March 24, 1974 in Mount Pleasant, a daughter of Janice L. (Slonecker) Keffer and the late Gerald R. Keffer.

Samantha was a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister. She graduated from Southmoreland High School, Class of 1992 and held multiple roles at US Steel Irvin works. Previously, she worked at SONY and Williamhouse.

Samantha will be sadly missed by her loving family; her son, Nicholas Riggs and his wife Angelica Riggs; Their kids, Alayna Riggs and Liam Baldassare; Her mother, Janice Keffer; Her sister, Keri Keffer; Her uncle, Jeff Keffer; Her Aunts Kendra McBeth, and Kathy Overly; and Her cousin Ashley Overly among many others
