Ronald J. Noel, 65, of Acme (Mt. Pleasant Township), passed away at 11:54 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at his residence. Ron was born July 20, 1959, in Greensburg, a son of the late Donald and Elizabeth Jane (Vargo) Noel. He married Barbara A. (Jackson) Noel on June 2, 2018. Ron was a graduate of Norwin High School, class of 1977, and was employed as a Maintenance Manager with Sprague Energy for many years. He was a faithful member of the Grandview Church of God, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Ron will be sadly missed by his wife of six years, Barbara A. (Jackson) Noel, his family; sister, Donna Noel and companion, Larry Sullenberger; stepson, Robert Philipp and Bianca; grandchildren, Aaron and Adam; and several nieces and nephews who were very special to him. He also loved his three beagles, Sadie Mae, Bella Marie, And Buddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Debbie Noel and Margaret Miller.
