Obituary

Ronald H. Kelley, 88

of Connellsville (Bullskin Township) passed away at 11:40 AM Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Ronald was born on July 27, 1937 in Bullskin Township, a son of the late Delmar and Alice (Detwiler) Kelley. He married Anna C. (Whipkey) "Kitty"Kelley on June 7, 1969.


Ronald was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated from Connellsville Area High School, Class of 1955 and was employed as a truck driver with Morrow Leasing & Pleasant Trucking for many years. A veteran of the US Army, he served during peacetime.


Ronald will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 56 years, Anna C. (Whipkey) "Kitty" Kelley; his children, Lori Coughenour and husband Chris of Connellsville and Terry Rush and wife Maria of Royersfore; his granddaughters,  Chelsea, Taylor, Emily, Heather, Mandi, and Tiffany;

his brother, Myers Kelley; his sister-in-law, Bernetha Kelley; his two Honorary grandchildren:  Michaela And Zachary Coughenour; and his

many Nieces and Nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Kelley; his sister, Phyllis Muessig; his brother-in-law, Bill Muessig; and his sister-in-law, Joyce Kelley

At Ronald's request, there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 3, 2026 in the Mt. Olive Evangelical Church with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Memorials may be made to: Mt. Olive Evangelical Church.
