Roger K. Truman, 72 of RuffsDale, passed away at 4:15 PM Friday, September 24, 2021 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Roger was born October 15, 1948 in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Robert Alfred and Pauline (Walker) Truman. He married Fay B. (Bryan) Truman on October 29, 1998.

Roger was a devoted husband, father, and brother to his family. He graduated from Southeast Ravenna High School, Ravenna Ohio and held a Degree in electronic technology. Roger was employed for many years as the manager of the Jones Horse Farm in Charleston, WV and years ago worked for Wiltel Communications. He enjoyed the art of leather smithing and was musically inclined, singing in the Ascension Quartet and serving as the choir director for several churches in Charleston, WV, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Roger will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife of 22 years, Fay B. (Bryan) Truman; his three step-daughters, Bev Dillon of Ravenna, OH, Shannon VanVliet and husband Chris of Las Vegas, NV, and Kim Williams and husband Pete of Warren, OH; his five step-grandchildren; his eight step great-grandchildren; his sister, Diana Westfall of Ravenna, OH; his brother, Roderick Truman and wife Barbara of Stowe, OH; and many loving members of the Truman family in West Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Truman; and his step-grandson, Jesse Frazier.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Friday in the funeral home chapel. Pastor John Friend will facilitate a service of remembrance beginning at 7 PM Friday.
