Obituary

Robert Wayne Warrick, 85, of Scottdale, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his residence. Bob was born Nov. 1, 1932, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late John A. and Marion M. (Lohr) Warrick, who passed away in April 1968 and March 2006, respectively. He married JoAnn M. (Ross) Warrick on April 16, 1966. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was employed as a molder at Duraloy Blaw-Knox in Scottdale and more recently worked for Southmoreland School Police. Years ago, he was employed at the former US Casket Co., Allied Mills, Modulus, and Strickland Trucking in Ohio. He was a member of Alverton United Methodist Church, and enjoyed his grandchildren, watching TV, and rooting for the Pittsburgh sports teams. Bob will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 51 years, JoAnn M. (Ross) Warrick; his two children, Amy Czekaj and husband, Donald Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, and Tina Warrick, of Scottdale and companion, Kenneth Collins; his five grandchildren, Drew Kucera (Sheri), Meaghan Hart (Cody), Noah King, Tessia Miller, and Jacob Miller; his two great-grandchildren, Kaiden Kucera and Braylen Hart; and his special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John "Jack" Warrick (1950); and his three sisters, Donna Bills (1977), Delores Jean Robson (1975), and Betty Smitley (2016).
