Obituary

ROBERT D. "PAPPY" WARNICK, 76 of Scottdale., passed away at 9:28 am Monday, November 14, 2016 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Bob was born August 21, 1940 in Connellsville, a son of the late John A. and Eva Jean (Moore) Warnick, who passed away in 1998 and 1963 respectively. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Georgina (Mix) Warnick in 1981 and his second wife, Betty (Craig) Brown Warnick in 2014.
Bob was a retired truck driver for Morrow Trucking Company, Soberdash Coal Company, and Allen Trucking Company. He was a member of Mt. Olive Evangelical Church of North America and a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving as a corporal in the US Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking charter trips on Lake Erie.
Bob will be sadly missed by his; his children, Randy Brown and his wife Jaynette of Connellsville, Beverly Weston of Scottdale, Scott Brown and his wife Debbie of Mt. Pleasant, and Kevin Brown of Pittsburgh; his sister, Patricia A. Etling and her husband William J. Etling of Connellsville; his seven grandchildren, Jonny Weston, Jenni Tarasky and husband Mike and their daughter, Lilliana, Amanda Whiteleather and her husband Brent and their son, Case, Jennifer Roadman and her husband Joe and their children, Joey and Brooklyn; his niece, Brenda Lauffer and her husband Robert of Connellsville; his nephew, William Etling and his wife Becki of Blairsville; and his special felines, Holly and Calie.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (724-887-5300 / www.fergusonfunerals.com GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278). Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Additional viewing will be held from 10-11 AM Thursday in Mt. Olive Evangelical Church where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery with full military honors bestowed by the Scottdale-Everson Burial Detail. Love Lasts Forever!
