Robert Patrick (Bob) Raygor, 71, of Scottdale, died at home September 16, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born August 24, 1955, a son of the late Bernard P. and Bridget (Podgorski) Raygor.

Bob is survived by his wife Carolyn (Marhefka) Raygor, whom he first fell in love with in junior high school. They were married on June 24, 1978. Together they have three daughters and seven grandchildren, whose pictures and stories he loved to share.

Bob was employed at Uptegraff Manufacturing in Scottdale for more than 38 years, and in his retirement he spent time helping his cousins at Raygor’s Auto and doing small home repair jobs. Affectionately known as Bald Old Brat (BOB) by his players, Bob coached GSGSL softball for more than a decade until his daughters aged out. In retirement Bob enjoyed fishing with his friend Rick and his family. Whether riding his Harley or driving a classic car, Bob enjoyed warm, sunny days on a back road and spending time with his family. His love of Corvettes had him driving the Southmoreland Homecoming Court girls both onto the field for their ceremony and in the Scottdale Fall Festival Parade for many years. In addition to his service in these areas, he was an active member and Past Exhalted Ruler of the Scottdale Elks Lodge 777. During his time as an officer he advocated for and supported the movement of women into leadership roles for the organization. In addition, he was a member of both the Masons and Shriners organizations. He was also a long-time member of the PAK of Everson and Scottdale Fireman’s social clubs, and enjoyed having a beer with his friends and family while listening to live music.

Bob will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn (Marhefka) Raygor; daughters Jill (Mead) Loop of Scottdale, Jenna (Jared) Moore of Wellsville, Pa., and Julie (Ron) Eiford of Scottdale; grandchildren McKenna (Nevaeh) Jamison, Isabelle and Cassandra Loop, Levi and Lainey Moore, and Aubree and Landon Eiford; and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Bernard P. Raygor, Jr.

Family and friends will be received from 2-5 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel followed by Memorial Services conducted by the Scottdale Elks Lodge, Marion Masonic Lodge, and Pastor Shawn Robbins. Memorial contributions can be made to the Scottdale Elks Lodge Home Foundation.
