Robert M. "Bob" Puchyr, 72, of Dawson, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021, at his residence.

Bob was born Sept. 19, 1948, in Whitehall, Lehigh County, a son of the late Michael Puchyr and Mary (Sokol) Puchyr Hankee. He was married to Rosann (Szulborski) Puchyr, who passed away on May 27, 2014.

Bob was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother. He received his master's degree from Lehigh University and was employed as social services administrator for many years with Access Services in Bethlehem. He attended the East Liberty Presbyterian Church in Vanderbilt and treasured spending time with his grandchildren. Bob was active at the Brownfield Community Center, where he enjoyed karaoke and live music!

Bob will be sadly missed by his loving family: his daughter, Robyn Brady and her husband Dan of Vanderbilt; his three grandchildren, Angelina, Joshua, and Elijah; his sister, Annette Puchyr; his two brothers, Daniel Puchyr and wife Judy, and Michael Puchyr and wife Donna, all of Allentown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Puchyr; and his two nephews, William and Brian Puchyr.

Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 10-11 a.m. Friday, the hour of services, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor David McElroy officiating.

Chapel committal service will follow in Dickerson Run Union Cemetery.
