Robert E. Mazurik, 85
went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 9 pm in Independence Health System's Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Robert was born on August 18, 1939 in Monarch, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Tomasko) Mazurik. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Anchor Hocking Glass in Soth Connellsville, Irey Construction in Latrobe, with Union Construction Local #286 in Brownsville, at US Steel's Maple Creek mine in Eighty Four for 21 years, and with Tedeaco's Brake Shoe factory in Connellsville.
Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed watching football on TV. He also liked feeding the deer and squirrels in his back yard. Above all, he loved the companionship of his little Shiz Tzu dog, Princess!
Robert will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife, Betty Darlene (Cossell) Mazurik; his three children, Robert E. Mazurik Jr and wife Sherry, Kevin R. Mazurik and wife Kelli, and Colleen Miller and husband Sam; his six grandchildren, Ethan and Shawn Mazurik, Brittany Sellinger and husband Ed, Christina Kemerer and husband Vince, Brett Miller and wife Sarah, and Brandon Miller; his five great grandchildren, Ella Nicole Miller, Chloe Lynn Mazurik, Carlee Dawn Mazurik, Bradley Logan Mazurik, and Edward Sellinger Jr; his brother, George Mazurik; and his sister, Charlotte Cossell and husband Ray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Mazurik and his sister-in-law, Audrey Mazurik.
Personalized arrangements were under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (www.fergusonfunerals.com). A private viewing and Blessing Ssrvuce with Rev. Father Paul Lisik was held at the covenience of the family. Inurnment was in Scottdale Cemetery. Love Lasts Forever!
