Robert L. "Bob" Lane, 80 of RuffsDale, passed away at 1:33 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.

Bob was born November 7, 1941 in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late Glen and Grace (Dillinger) Lane. He married Judith Gale "Judy" (Foss) Lane on June 15, 1962.

Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a retired electrician, working at Cleveland Price Incorporated of Trafford for over 20 years. Previously, he was employed for over 20 years at the former Modulus Corporation in Mount Pleasant. Bob and his wife, Judy were members of the Grandview Church of God, but also attended the Harvest Community Church. Bob was a active member of the Equalizer Garden Tractor Pullers for 20 years and enjoyed playing softball, bowling, camping, and working on anything mechanical.

Bob will be sadly missed by his loving family; his three sons, Ron Lane and wife Belinda of Mount Pleasant, David A. Lane and Richard S. Lane, both of RuffsDale; his granddaughter, Elise Fahringer and husband, Dan of RuffsDale; his four sisters, Shirley Leasure of Scottdale, Nancy Zelmore of Tarrs, Barbara Lint of Dawson, and Marie Sangro and husband Severino of Montrose, NY; numerous nieces and nephews; and his pet cats, Chubby, Ralph, and Samantha. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in in death by his siblings, Vera Vance, Grace McLean, and William, George, and Raymond Lane.

FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET , SCOTTDALE ( http://www.fergusonfunerals.com) Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday and 10-11 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday with Pastor Rob Allison officiating.
