Richard William Hooper, 27

of Scottdale passed away at 3:30 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Richard was born June 17, 1997 in Mount Pleasant, a son of Jayne Marie Bossart and Robert C. Hooper.

Richard was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 2016 and was employed for several years as a Baler with Cenveo Envelope Inc. He had a love for animals, especially his two cats, Brewster and Socks.

In addition to his parents, Richard will be sadly missed by his sister, Shauna Gordon (Dave) of Connellsville; his two brothers, Ryan Bossart (Diana)of St. Charles, IL, and Robert Charles Hooper (Jonathan) of Scottdale; his nephews, Chase Bossart and David Gordon; his special aunts, Angel Bossart (Noah) of Connellsville, Carol Bair (Ken) of Greensburg, and Lisa Bossart of Madison, OH; and several other aunts and uncles. Richard was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Nancy (Black) and William Bossart Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Linda (Hatcher) Greenawalt; and his three uncles, Robert Bossart Sr., William Bossart Jr., and David K. Bossart.
