Raymond D. Clawson III of Scottdale passed away unexpectantly on Sunday morning, December 8, 2024.

Ray was born January 12, 1972 in Greensburg, a son of Debra A. (Metsger) Blaser of Scottdale and the late Raymond D. Clawson Jr., who passed away on August 29, 2007.

Ray was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1990 and was employed as a shipping and furnace supervisor with General Carbide in Greensburg for over 30 years. He was an avid ATV rider and off-road enthusiast. Ray also enjoyed NASCAR and attending Keystone Raceway events.

Ray will be sadly missed by his loving family; his mother, Debra A. (Metsger) Blaser of Scottdale; his son, Alexander Clawson of Ruffsdale; his sister, Rachel Beltz and husband Joseph of Greensburg; his brother, Richard Clawson of Scottdale; and his niece, Nicole Beltz. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Chuck Blaser on July 5, 2021.

Family and friends will be received from 3-7 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel where funeral; services will be held at 7 PM Wednesday with Pastors Mark Heckman and Kathy Barnhart co-officiating.
