Ralph Hans Swift, 66

of Leesburg, VA (formerly of Dawson) passed away at 11:10 AM Sunday, April 14, 2024 in the Inova Loudoun Hospital, Leesburg VA.  Ralph was born in Pont a Mousson, France, a son of the late Ralph "Ducky" and Helga (Wertz) Swift.

Ralph graduated from Connellsville Area High School, Class of 1976 and was employed as a lineman with Dominion Energy Inc., based in Herndon, VA. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, attending Steeler's summer camp, rooting for Pittsburgh sports teams, and fishing.

Ralph will be sadly missed by his loving family; his son, Timothy Swift; his grandchildren, Christian Plummer and Braiden Swift; his siblings, Doris Burkholder (David), Karen Swift, and Deana Adams (Mike); his sister-in-law, Jamie Price; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Swift.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday and 10-11 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday with Rev. Dr. Marvin Watson officiating. Chapel committal service and interment will follow in Dickerson Run Union Cemetery. Love Lasts Forever!
