Paul Duwayne Rupp, 90 of Scottdale
(East Huntingdon Township)
passed away at 12:56 AM Sunday, May 5, 2024 in the Rehabilitation Nursing Center at Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg. Paul was born March 12, 1934 near Kittanning in Armstrong County, a son of the late Albert Ross and Ruby (Holibaugh) Rupp. He was married 49 years to his beloved wife, Ethel Mae (Pletcher) Rupp, who passed away on September 2, 2017.
Paul was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother. He was a faithful member of the Scottdale Church of Christ. Paul was a retired welder with Fruehauf in Uniontown and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, family, and church friends. A veteran of the US Air Force, he served as a technical staff sergeant from 1953-1957 during the Korean War.
Paul will be sadly missed by his loving family; his daughter, Audra and son-in-law, Dave Kubicek; his two grandsons, Michael and Justin; his three brothers, Kenneth, Raymond, and Richard Rupp; his four sisters-in-law, Carol Rupp, Marie Hough, Carol Rupp, and Alice Pletcher; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, David Rupp and Charles Nulph.
