Nora C. Felgar, formerly of Scottdale, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024, at Harmon House in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, after a courageous battle with a brain tumor. Born on October 30, 1946, in Reinheim, Germany, Nora moved to the United States during her preteen years, bringing with her the spirit and resilience that would define her life.

Nora was predeceased by her mother, Anneliese Kramer, in 1959; her adopted father, Mickey Ridenour, in 2016; her long-time partner, Andrew Collins, in April 2024; and her daughter, Caline Felgar, in 2020.

Nora's legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her daughters, Candace Dumond and her husband, EJ, and Caprice Mills and her husband, Greg. She was a cherished grandmother to Casey Wineland, Alexandria Torock, Christopher Dumond, and Jonathan Dumond, and a proud great-grandmother to Avery Wineland, Annalysia Torock, Charlotte Torock, and Kashlynn Torock. She is also survived by Wayne Felgar, the father of her children.

Nora's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Harmon House and Bridges Hospice Care for their care and to her dear friends Sharie Kaufman, Janet Kaczynski, and Suzie Mordwinken for their support and companionship during Nora's illness.

In accordance with Nora's wishes, there will be no viewing service. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local library in her memory, as Nora had a lifelong love of reading.

Nora's strength and love touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
