Niles L. Stauffer, 85

Of Connellsville (Bullskin Township) passed away at 11 PM Sunday, March 24, 2024 in the Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mount Pleasant. Archie as he was referred to, was born January 12, 1939 in Greensburg, a son of the late Henry Joseph and Alta Mae (Oplinger) Stauffer. He was married to the former Roberta D. Fisher.

Archie was the President of Amex Metallizing and enjoyed raising horses. He was a well respected business owner and a common sense type of guy! A veteran of the US Air Force, he served as a naval mechanic and naval equipment repairman during the Vietnam War.

Archie will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife, Roberta F. (Fisher) Stauffer; his two brothers, Lawrence Stauffer of Georgia and Bryan Stauffer of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Lou Wolff.
