Naomi Faye (Wilbraham) Bradish, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, (formerly of Bullskin Township), passed away at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mt. Pleasant. Naomi was born Sept. 13, 1940, in Fayette City, a daughter of the late Edwin Howard and Sara (West) Wilbraham. She was married to John G. "Jack" Bradish Jr., who passed away July 20, 2010. Naomi was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She was a graduate of Perry High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from California State University. She was employed as an elementary school teacher with Connellsville School District and at the Friendship Christian School. Naomi was a longtime and faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in Scottdale, where she taught Sunday school. She also enjoyed her love of playing the piano. Naomi will be sadly missed by her loving family; her two children, John H. "Jay" Bradish and his wife, Rebecca A. (Overly), and Jill L. Greenawalt and her husband, Bryan D., all of Connellsville; her six grandchildren, Justin A. and Julia R. Bradish and Jeremy B., Ina F., Jared A. and Ivana L. Greenawalt; her sister, Helen J. Griffith, of McDonald; her brother, David Wilbraham and his wife, Claudia Elaine, of Merrells Inlet, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaclyn R. Bradish, Dec. 20, 1968; her son, Jess A. Bradish, June 7, 1998; her granddaughter, Felicia R. Bradish, June 27, 1997; her brother-in-law, Kenneth "Sonny" Griffith; and her father and mother-in-law, John G. Bradish Sr. and Dorothy G. (Miller) Bradish.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Burl Ward officiating. Chapel committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Bullskin Township.
