Nancy Lee (Sherbondy) Roberts, 73, of Connellsville, (Upper Tyrone Township), passed away at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Nancy was born May 28, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Catherine (Flanigan) Sherbondy. She was married to Donald Leroy "Don" Roberts, who passed away Jan. 27, 2013. Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was Catholic by faith and enjoyed music and dancing. Nancy will be sadly missed by her loving family; her two daughters, Tina Underwood and husband, Ed of Derry, and Linda McMahan and husband, Rick Kreger, of Acme; her 10 grandchildren; her 20 great-grandchildren; her sister, Peggy Johnson and husband, Johnny, of White; her two brothers, Kenneth Sherbondy and wife, Marilyn, of Scottdale, and George Sherbondy and wife, Virginia, of Everson; her numerous nieces and nephews; and her pet cat, Kitty. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica LaDawn Griffin; her two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Lee Griffin and Noah Orion Griffin; her three sisters, Jane Albright, Hilda Burnsworth and Phyllis Wright; her two brothers, Ronnie and Bobby Sherbondy; and her pet dog, Ollie.
