Michelle L. (Gaffney) Swank, 41, of Acme, passed away at 6:21 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2017 at her residence.

Michelle was born Jan. 18, 1976 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Wayne L. and Joanne (Murdock) Gaffney. She married Allen S. Swank on Nov. 16, 1994.

Michelle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was a member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her family and the faithful companionship of her dogs.

Michelle will be sadly missed by her husband of 23 years, Allen S. Swank; her five children, Cory Swank Sr. and wife Anna, Alyssa Swank and companion Alvin Guynn, Destiny Swank, Kadence Swank and Caden Swank; her two grandchildren, Jaxon Springer and Cory Swank Jr.; her three sisters, Pamela Gaffney and companion James Grimm of Scottdale, Sherry Baker of Connellsville, and Lisa Roadman and husband Irvin of Champion; her brother, Wayne Gaffney and wife Marie of Scottdale; her goddaughter, Haylee Grimm; her god granddaughter, Aubrey Layton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Albert and Melba (Hertel) Murdock.

Family and friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Graveside inurnment will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs.
