Mia Victoria Grace Padovano, 23, of Miami, Florida, passed away on August 30, 2026.


Born in Miami on September 28, 2002, Mia was the beloved daughter of Leanne Borza and Joseph John Padovano. She graduated from Penn Foster High School and worked for US Parking, founded by her father in 1975.


An accomplished equestrian, Mia competed nationally and internationally. She trained at the International Equestrian Center in Southwest Ranches, Florida, and traveled with her team to Germany in 2017 to represent the United States, competing at German Friendships alongside riders from 30 nations. She formed lasting bonds with her trainer, Daniela Roy, fellow riders, and the IEC barn family.


Mia will be remembered for her beautiful smile, unmistakable laugh, humor, sensitivity, and strong will. She had a tender heart for those who were struggling and brought warmth and affection to the lives of those around her. She also had a deep love for all animals, treating them with compassion and kindness.


Mia is survived by her mother, Leanne Borza; her grandmother, Midge Borza, of Venice, Florida; extended family; dear friends; and her equestrian family.


She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph John Padovano; maternal grandfather, Regis D. Borza; paternal grandfather, John Padovano; and grandmother, Elvira Baker.


Mia will be laid to rest beside her grandfather, Regis D. Borza, at Scottdale Cemetery in Scottdale, Pennsylvania.


She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.


Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 10 AM Friday, October 9, 2026 in the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Mount Pleasant with Rev. Father Peter Guardiano as celebrant. Graveside committal service & inurnment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery. Love Lasts Forever!
