Mary (Kasich) Willis, 84, of West Newton, passed away at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Mary was born July 10, 1933, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Eva Kasich. Mary was previously employed with West Newton Borough and Kmart, and was a member of West Newton United Methodist Church. Mary is survived by her loving family: her son, Wayne Willis and his wife, Jacqueline, of Irwin; her granddaughter, Kira Eyler and husband, Dan; her great-grandson, Damon Eyler; her siblings, Liz Koroly and George Kasich; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Willis; and her four brothers and sister.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale (724-887-5300). At Mary's request, there will be no viewing or visitation. A private family memorial service will be held in West Newton Cemetery.
