Obituary

Mary M. (Myers) Fisher Sager, 74, of Alverton, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Mary was born March 22, 1944, at Alverton, in East Huntingdon Township, a daughter of the late Herbert K. Myers Sr. and Mildred May (Young) Myers. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was employed for many years as a bus driver for the Southmoreland School District and drove tour buses for Groomes Transit. She attended the Fairview and Grandview Church of God and enjoyed bingo, casinos, Pepsi, attending her children's sporting events and taking rides. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving family; her husband, Chuck Sager; her four children, Timothy Fisher, of Youngwood, and his companion, Marcy Feltes, Robert Fisher, of Mt. Pleasant, and his companion, Robin Fuller, Amy Boshinsky and husband, Jeffrey, of Everson, and Gerald Fisher, of Latrobe, and his companion, Florence Knupp; her five grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; her siblings, Marjorie Forsythe, of Dawson, Edith Kenly, of Latrobe, Herbert K. Myers Jr. and his wife, Dolly, of Mt. Pleasant, Ruthann Buschel, of Alverton, and George L. Myers and his wife, Becky, of Acme; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Fisher, Aug. 13, 2004; her infant twin grandsons, Christopher and Daniel Fisher; her siblings, Dorothy J. Corwin, Mildred K. Aller and Robert Myers; and her brothers-in-law, George Forsythe, Carl Kenly, Ronald Buschel, Pete Corwin and William Aller.
