Obituary

Martin Thomas "Tom" Fabiszewski, 87, of Harrison City (formerly of Greensburg), died on May 11, 2026. He was born on April 14, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late John and Zofia (Deska) Fabiszewski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Bernard (Wilma) Fabiszewski, Theresa (Edward) Farrell, Genevieve (Frank) Uhrinek, Agnes Fabiszewski, Ted (Natalie) Fabe, and John Fabiszewski. He was also preceded in death by grandsons, Jamie Fabiszewski Jr. and Kirk Fabiszewski; as well as great granddaughters, Rylan and Emberleigh Fabiszewski. Tom is survived by his children, Jamie Fabiszewski, Jennifer Fabiszewski, and Jan (David) Pesci. He is also survived by grandson, Jack Pesci; great grandsons, Deagan, Colton, and Jamie W. Fabiszewski; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Before beginning his long career as a tool-and-die maker at Robertshaw, Martin drove a beer truck and served in the United States Army. He was happiest outdoors, especially when gardening, fishing, or camping. A devout Catholic throughout his life, he rarely missed a holy day of obligation and was even known to add a few of his own. Above all else, Tom loved his family. He offered support, humor, and unwavering loyalty, showing his children and siblings his love through countless acts of service and his own unmistakable brand of advice. He leaves behind stories that will be told for years by those he loved. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pennsylvania State Parks or The Arbor Day Foundation. A special thanks to William Penn Care Center and MediHome Hospice for their wonderful care. Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale (www.fergusonfunerals.com).
