Mark Wesley "Markie" Rittenour, 49, of Dawson (Lower Tyrone Township), passed away at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Markie was born Nov. 13, 1971. at the Methodist Hospital in Gary, Ind., a son of the late Robert Mark and Donna (Harkins) Rittenour.

Markie was an avid sports fan for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penquins and enjoyed golf and tennis.

Markie will be sadly missed by his loving family, his aunt, Janet Marie Harkins; his uncle, Lonnie Rittenour; and his aunt, Rose Rittenour. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wesley Paul and Mabel (Davis) Harkins; and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Leona Rittenour.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 Railroad St., Dawson, (724-529-2611 / www.fergusonfunerals.com ). A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in the Bryan United Methodist Church with Pastor Lonnie Rittenour officiating with committal services and inurnment to follow in Cochran Cemetery next to his late mother.
