Obituary

Margaret "Betty" (Clark) King, 91, of Ruffsdale, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, in TLC Personal Care Home, West Newton. Betty was born in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (McIntire) Clark. Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was employed for 13 years as a cook at the PA Turnpike McDonald's restaurant and years ago, she worked at VW in New Stanton, and at the Norvelt, Youngwood and Connellsville Sewing factories. Betty was a faithful member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church and held memberships at the East Huntingdon Fireman's Club and at Hempfield Hunt Club. She enjoyed dancing, country music and the companionship of her loyal canine, Buddy. Betty will be sadly missed by her loving family; her two children, Robert "Bob" King, of Ruffsdale, and Linda Suter and her husband, Dale, of Woodhaven, Mich.; her grandchildren, Steve Suter and wife, Lindsey, and Stephanie Suter; her two brothers, Bruce Clark and wife, Connie, of Scottdale, and Clifford Clark and wife, Jan, of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Jack, William and Donald Clark; and her sister, Pearl Fritz.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale ( 724-887-5300 /www.fergusonfunerals.com/GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278). Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Roy Butt officiating. Private interment will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery next to her late mother.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army in her memory. Love lasts forever!
