Marcia Elaine (Killinger) Blackburn, 92, of Everson Valley (Upper Tyrone Township) passed away at 7:35 AM Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in Eicher's Personal Care Home, Normalville. Marcia was born December 27, 1930 in Upper Tyrone Township, a daughter of the late George Frederick and Alice Meade (Hake) Killinger. She was married to John Blackburn, who passed away on November 30, 1996.
Marcia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a retired PA licensed practical nurse, employed for over 25 years at Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant where she worked in the emergency room and central supply. A longtime member of Grace Fellowship Church in Everson, Marcia was active in the Friendship Circle Sunday School Class and the Missionary Women's group. She was a graduate of Scottdale High School, Class of 1948 and loved her home and enjoyed her back porch!
Marcia will be sadly missed by her loving son and caregiver, John S. Blackburn of Everson Valley; her son-in-law, Ken Goyak of Everson Valley; her grandchildren, Sarah Martinosky and husband Kevin of Everson, Rebecca Henderson and husband Brandon of Scottdale, Julie Barr and husband Jason of Bridgeville, and Kenny Goyak and wife Katie of Easton; and her great grandchildren, Lily and Rylee Martinosky, Isabella, Brooke, and Benjamin Henderson, Zachary and Zoe Barr, and Jack, Cara, and Cassidy Goyak. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Goyak; her three sisters, Anna Grace Killinger, Marybelle O'Toole, and Lorna Stoner; and her four brothers, George, Jack, Samuel, and Fred Killinger.

Family and friends will be received from 2-7 PM Friday and from 10-11 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel followed by Funeral Services at 11 AM Saturday with Pastors Brian Swan and Mark Sholtis co-officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will be in Scottdale Cemetery next to her late husband.
