Madelyn E. (Dusenbery) Shaulis, 86, of Scottdale, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, in the Hamon House Convalescent Center, Mt. Pleasant. Madelyn was born Sept. 9,1929, in Mendon, a daughter of the late Forrest R. and Marian Francis (Null) Dusenbery. She was married to Wayne Shaulis, who passed away April 2, 1999. Madelyn was a devoted wife, mother, sister and caregiver. She was a graduate of South Huntingdon High School, Class of 1948, and a longtime and faithful member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scottdale. Madelyn will be sadly missed by her son, Warren Shaulis, of Sturgis, S.D.; her three brothers, Keith Dusenbery, of West Newton, and Kent and Kendall Dusenbery, both of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kurt Shaulis, and her sister, Marcia Baxendale.
