Mabel Ruth (Geyer) Herwick, 95, of Scottdale, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 30, 2020, in the Harmon House Convalescent Center, Mt. Pleasant, surrounded by family at her bedside.

On FaceTime, we each said our loving goodbyes "until we meet again!" Mimi, as we called her, was loved by many near and far, and with her "gift of gab," you instantly became her lifelong friend.

Mimi was preceded in death by the love of her life, Thomas Herwick of Connellsville; her sister, Dorothy Ansell and her husband Bill Ansell Sr.; her niece, Nancy Warburton and her husband Bill; and her great-niece, Karen (Lineberry) Ebersole.

Mimi will be sadly missed by her loving family: her niece, Dottie Lineberry and her husband Jack of Gainesville, Va.; her nephew, Bill Ansell Jr. and wife Shawn of Scottdale; her nephew, Kevin Ansell and wife Jodi of San Juan Bautista, Calif.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, David and wife Joan, Jeff and wife Robin, Vickie, Richard, Kathy, Jack Jr. and wife Tracy, Bill III and wife Kathy, Adriane and fiancé John, Jaime, Dean, and Kodie; her great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, David Jr., Sara, Eric, Justin, Christine, John, Vanis, Jacob, Katy, Nickie, Travis, Brittany, Kacey, Chad, Melissa, Kevin, Ashley, Kayleigh, and Mason; and her great-great-grandnieces and great-great-grandnephews, Ella, Henry W., Charlotte, Waylon, Avery, Kolbi, Hudsyn, Henry R., Hunter, Nicholas, Carter, Mackenzie, Cameron, Jocelyn, and Sidney.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring St., Scottdale, 724- 887-5300 , www.fergusonfunerals.com . At the request of the decedent, there will be no viewing, visitation, or service.

Final resting place will be in Scottdale Cemetery.
