Lucille B. Wingert of Scottdale, PA passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. She was the loving wife of Robert E. Wingert who preceded her in death on April 16, 2011 after 62 years of marriage. Mrs. Wingert was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Clairmont) Bonaffino.
Lucille leaves her family of three sons: Jeffrey (wife Susan), Gregory (wife Betsy) and Scott. She also leaves five grandchildren: Philip, Andrew, Kelsey, Meghan and Dan as well as two great-grandchildren: Ingrid and Ansel.
Mrs. Wingert was a 1941 graduate of Scottdale High School. She met her future husband, Robert, in 1947 when he returned from serving in WWII and they were married two years later.
The Wingerts spent their entire married life living in Scottdale and were both very active in the community. Lucille was a devoted member of Saint John the Baptist Church where she attended daily mass. She was also a faithful volunteer at Frick Community Hospital where she worked in the coffee shop until 2011.
In 2014, Mrs. Wingert moved to Florida to be closer to family. She resided at the Sheridan of Lakewood Ranch until her death.

Family and friends will be received from 4-7 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel where Parting Prayers will be recited at 10:30 AM Thursday. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM Thursday in The Partner Parish of Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Scottdale with Rev. Father Elmer Alforque as Celebrant. Graveside committal service and interment will be in the church cemetery next to her late husband.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint John the Baptist Church. Love Lasts Forever!
