Lore S. Aumer, 82 of Ruffs Dale, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 16, 1932, in Germany, a daughter of the late Robert and Sofie Scheuing. She married Herb Aumer on June 19, 1954, and passed away on their wedding anniversary. Lore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devoted homemaker and a faithful member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood. She loved kids, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lore will be sadly missed by her loving family: her husband of 61 years, Herb Aumer; her six children, Herb K. Aumer and his wife, Deb, Rick Aumer, Ted Aumer, Bob Aumer, Linda A. Mondock and her husband, Hyme Mondock, and Jeff Aumer and his wife, Jamie; her 11 grandchildren, Melissa Stahley and husband, Reid, Kris Rosenberry and husband, Denny, Jake Aumer, Dawn Marie Mondock, Teddy Mondock, Michael, Kohl, Kurt, Tristan, Sarah and Olivia Aumer; and her five great-grandchildren, Reid Andrew, Neil, Claire, Addison and Ryan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. She was the last surviving member of the Robert and Sofie Scheuing family.
