Loma Eileen
Fox
October 28, 1938 – January 6, 2022
Loma Eileen (Peterson) Fox, 83 of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Township) went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Eileen was born October 28, 1938 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Walter and Loma (Swallop) Peterson, who passed away in 1987 and 1996 respectively. She was married to Donald Fox, who passed away on December 23, 1985.
Eileen was lifelong and faithful member of Pennsville Baptist Church and committed her life to Jesus. She also worked as a caregiver, assisting many local families in need.
Eileen will be sadly missed by her loving family; her daughter, Diane (Fox) Hauger and husband Duane; her grandson, Luke Hauger all of Acme; her grandson, Jacob Hauger and wife Allison; her great granddaughter, Emma Eileen Hauger, (whom was her world to see and talk to) all of Somerset; her cat, Lizzy who was by her side until the very end; and her cat, Millie-Sue at home.
Our fondest memory of Eileen will be the joy she brought to any occasion, her smile, her blue eyes, and the genuine good soul that she had. They broke the mold when she was born! Her favorite activities and hobbies included working in her flower beds outside, cutting grass, going to all of Luke's football games at Seton Hill and cheering him on the sideline, watching Jacob playing his banjo at all the festivals, and the many craft projects with her dear friend, Joanie, especially stenciling the steps inside the house, her trip to Kauai with her dear friend Bonnie, numerous birthday parties with Becky and Frank, and being a second generation grandma to Jackie and Joanne and their children. While living with Diane, she enjoyed listening to music in her room, talking with friends and family, and shopping for a good bargain!
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE ( www.fergusonfunerals.com ).
