Lois Rae (Meason) Randolph, of Scottdale, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Lois was born in Scottdale, a daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Kemp) Meason. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a lifetime member and deacon at First Baptist Church in Scottdale. Lois worked as a secretary for the Borough of Scottdale and retired as a reading aide from Southmoreland School District. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Randolph, on April 12, 1992; her two brothers, John (Jay) and Francis Meason; and her seven sisters, Eleanor Smitley, Iris Smouse, Virginia Tarr, Margaret Kurtz, Jane Smitley, June Shallenberger and Ann Ferguson. Lois will be sadly missed by her loving family; her son, Rob Randolph and his wife, Ann, of Irwin; her daughter, Kate Waugaman and her husband, Ed, of Acme; and her grandchildren, Tara (Waugaman) Achtziger and her husband, Jon, Anne Waugaman, Jon Waugaman, Greg Randolph and his wife, Christine, and Phil Randolph and his wife, Krista. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Andrew Puskar, Matthew Achtziger and Mia Randolph. Lois will also be missed by her cat, Star, who has been her companion for many years. At the request of the decedent, there will be no viewing. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Dale White officiating.
